I am the girl from the kiss video. The awkward one that went viral for being cringe.

YouTube video titled "Cringe at First Kiss | Love at First Kiss" from the TLC channel. The video shows a woman identified as Emily, 27, Project Manager, sitting in front of a white brick wall. The video has 12 million views, 94K likes, and was uploaded 8 years ago.

It took me nine years, since the filming of this show, to realize that only a person with a chaotic inner world could attract an experience this uncomfortable.

My viral experience illustrates that we can all “glow up” if we decide that our wellbeing matters.
